Brophy Junior Named First Place Winner in Maricopa County "I Voted" Sticker Design Contest

Congratulations to Brophy junior, Jake Petrine, for winning the Maricopa County "I Voted" sticker design contest!

Jake's design, titled "Vote in the Desert," was selected as the first place winner in the Youth category after receiving over 1,300 votes from the community. This incredible achievement is the result of an extra credit assignment led by Brophy social studies teacher, Jim Welty '14, across his Government classes.

The contest, launched by Maricopa County Recorder Stephen Richer, highlighted the artistic talents of young people throughout the county. Jake's creativity and civic engagement were recognized on a local level.

This award is a testament to Jake's skills, as well as the top-notch education he is receiving at Brophy Prep.
