Completed physical forms signed by a physician must be turned in to the registrar before a student can compete in athletics.*

*Due to the COVID-19 health crisis, we are adjusting the physical exam requirement for the 2020-21 school year. We realize that in the current situation, it has become difficult for families to get appointments with their doctors. Additionally, we are being discouraged from going to doctors' offices and clinics for preventative care, such as routine physicals. We have adjusted the requirements for the 2020-21 school year based on these new realities.

The Arizona Interscholastic Association requires that physical exam packets are completed in order for students to be eligible to participate in interscholastic athletics. We will be scaling back our requirement for physical exams this year to include only athletes who participate in sports. Since the AIA is still navigating the logistics of the fall season in light of COVID-19 and Arizona state regulations, we will adapt the requirements and timeline for each sport as they release updated plans and information for that sport.

Students who will not compete in athletics do not need to submit a physical exam packet for the 2020-21 school year; however, it's important that the school has information on any health conditions. Please make sure your son's medical history/conditions/allergies are correctly listed on the 2020-21 Medical Emergency Form that was completed during registration. This will help ensure that Brophy has up-to-date and accurate medical information for your son. You can review the form by logging into myBrophy, clicking on your son's name in the top right corner, and selecting Files & Forms from the dropdown. To add information to the form or if you have questions, please contact Registrar Shawna Khan.
