Transferring to Brophy

Transfer Student application process is now closed for the 2025-26 school year.  The transfer student process for the 2026-27 school year will begin on March 2, 2026.

Brophy accepts a limited number of transfer students each year. All transfer students join at the beginning of the school year — we do not accept students mid-year or mid-semester.*

We accept a limited number of students at the start of the 10th and 11th grades. We typically do not accept senior transfers who are coming from public schools because these students have not had the religious studies classes necessary to meet our graduation requirements. The number of transfer students accepted is based on the number of spots available once our current students have registered for the new academic year.

The application process for students wishing to transfer to Brophy for 2026-27 begins Monday, March 2, 2026, with all application materials due on May 1, 2026. Decisions are ideally made in late May to mid-June but can occur as late as early August.

*If you are moving from out of state mid-year with a job transfer, or have other special circumstances, please contact the Admissions Office for further discussion.

Please note: This school is authorized under Federal law to enroll non-immigrant alien students.

Steps to Apply

  1. Complete an Inquiry Form on the Inquire webpage to create an admissions account in Veracross/myBrophy.
  2. Starting March 1, begin work on the application checklist, which includes the required recommendation forms, student and parent questionnaires, and uploading your birth certificate, among other items. The due date is May 1.
  3. Pay the $60 application fee online. If you applied to Brophy last year, you do not need to pay another application fee. Call the admissions office to get a waiver code.
  4. Request your transcripts using the Transcript Request Form, which must be downloaded and printed from the checklist. Give the printed form to your school’s registrar.
  5. Create a personal admissions video using a smartphone, tablet or computer.  Please note the following guidelines:
    a)    The maximum final length is two minutes.
    b)    Be authentic and genuine — and have fun! We want the video to reflect who you are and what you love to do. There are no right or wrong answers.
    c)    Videos will not be evaluated for production quality; however, make sure that you are visible and audible during your video. Check the lighting and listen to your video after you have recorded it to ensure you are happy with the final product before submitting it.
    d)    We recommend that you dress casually as you would for a school day or school event.
    e)    Tell us about yourself using these guidelines: Your video should begin with "Hi, my name is (insert name) from (high school) and I am in (insert grade)." After that, answer these two questions, forming your responses clearly and thoughtfully.
    1. What experiences have you had, and what attributes do you have, that will make you a successful Brophy Bronco?
    2. How would your teachers describe you as a student and individual in their classroom and on campus?
    f) You will upload the video file directly to the checklist. The maximum file size for upload is 100MB. If your file is larger than 100MB, you must share it with us via email using a link to Google Drive, iCloud or Dropbox. Your video will only be viewed by the Admissions Committee.
  6. Have a personal interview with the Admissions Office. We typically do these in late April and early May. Please call our office to set up an appointment. Interviews last approximately 20 minutes and will be in person or virtual.
The due date for for application materials is May 1, 2026.
