Nine Brophy Players Honored with All-State Recognition

Nine Brophy football players earned All-State recognition from the AIA and Arizona Republic on teams released this week.

Senior defensive lineman Mardale Rowe and junior offensive lineman were AIA 6A All-Conference first-team selections. Junior defensive back Cree Thomas, senior linebacker Alex Salome and junior offensive lineman Anderson Kopp were chosen for the second team.

Wide receiver Christian Camarata, kicker Connor Furey, quarterback Charlie McGinnis, and defensive back Dom Mitchell were honorable mention selections. 

Thomas and Powell were both recognized by the Arizona Republic on their All-Arizona team.

The Republic also named Kopp, McGinnis, Salome, Furey and Rowe to their All-Arizona honorable mention list.
