Three Broncos on All-Premier Region Cross Country Team
Junior Santiago Sanchez and senior Jack Kyle were named to the All-Premier Region first team announced for the 2023 season. Senior Kenoby Hetman was selected to the second team.
It was the second consecutive honor for Sanchez on the region's first team. It was the first postseason honor for both Kyle and Hetman.
Sanchez paced the team with a ninth-place finish in 16:16 to earn a medal at the AIA Division I State Championships. Kyle crossed the line in 29th in 16:50 and Hetman was 39th in 17:02. They led the team to a ninth-place overall finish.
They will represent Brophy at the NXN Southwest meet on Saturday in Mesa at Coyote Run Golf Course.
