Brophy/Xavier Wins the South Conference Title

Brophy/Xavier won the Arizona Cycling Association South Conference title for the second consecutive season. The team captured the Race 4 title on Saturday at McDowell Mountain Regional Park to secure the South Conference title by the slim margin of 16588 to 16560. Alex Columbus was sixth overall (1:39.43), Jackson Pohlad was 10th (1:45.37) and Aaron Borquez was 11th. Brophy placed three in the Top 10 in the JV1 race led by Kolbe Morgan in second, Ethan Chiang in third and Christian Shaffner in seventh. 

Carlos Esperanza led the finishers in the JV2 race in 16th and Lev Sheinbein was the top freshman in 11th overall.
