Football Wins Homecoming/Senior Night Game

Brophy posted a 34-6 victory over Desert Vista to improve to 5-2 on the season on Homecoming/Senior Night. The 29 seniors were recognized pregame and senior offensive lineman Chaz Carson was named Homecoming King at halftime. The Broncos built a 14-0 lead in the first half, scoring on a TD pass to Nathan Benzie and a Carlos Estrada rush. Daylen Sharper and Harrison Chambers added scores in the second half. Connor Furey kicked two field goals (40, 26).

Quarterback Charlie McGinnis went 20-for-33 for a personal-best 273 yards and two touchdowns as the Broncos amassed 415 yards in total offense, the second-best under Jason Jewell. Bastian Vanden Bosch had five tackles with assists with a sack and tackle for loss. 

Harrison CHambers rushed for 74 yards on 12 carries with a touchdown. Daylen Sharper had a 56-yard reception and Christian Camarata recorded a team-best five catches for 65 yards. Dom Mitchell had an interception and Alex Salome recorded a fumble recovery. The Broncos recorded four sacks and 10 tackles for loss.
