Senior Tyler Spielman shot a second-round 65 to earn medalist honors and help the Brophy golf team to a second-place finish at The Classic in the Palm Beaches High School Invitational in Florida. Brophy shot a 289 in the second round and finished tied with the Benjamin School at 581. Jupiter won the team title at 287-291 578. It was the fourth team title for the program this season.
Spielman posted a two-shot victory over Tristan Wieland of Jupiter. His round featured seven birdies including his final one of the 18th hole against just two bogies. He had a 68 in the opening round.
Senior Henry Dall finished at even par 144 to finish just outside the top 10 at T11. Junior Dylan Boenning shot a 73-75 to tie for 22nd at 148. Asher Nelson shot a 78 for the second consecutive day to tie for 49th. Adone Panatonni carded a 79 and Jack Abraham a 78.
