Swimming Opens with Win over Chandler
Brophy was able to walk away with a solid win for their first duel meet of the season 135-49. Ben Kar edged out Chandler allowing Brophy to go 1-2-3 in the 200 IM going a best time by 3 seconds. The Brophy sprint freestylers led by Asher Gomez and Mark Heffern in sweeping the 50/100 freestyle. On the boards, Sean Kennedy finished 1st and Cater Chase 3rd. Ben Edwards dropped 2 seconds in the 100 Backstroke breaking the 1:10 barrier. Thomas McCauley and Frank Sunderhaus both share the swimmer of the meet honor by getting their personal best times in their individual events.
