Hockey Battles Notre Dame Prep in 5-3 Loss

The D1 team played Notre Dame Prep on Sunday, falling 5-3. The Broncos took the lead on a Finn Forster goal in the first period assisted by Connor Rassas for the only goal over the first 15 minutes. After an NDP goal to tie the game a 1 in the second, Brophy took a 2-1 lead on a Wilson Bryant goal (Forster) at the 11:03 mark. The Saints scored three times late in the second to lead 4-2. Brophy added a third goal to cut the deficit to on the Blake Burr goal (Forster) before NDP added an insurance goal. The JV team lost to Basha 10-0 on Saturday.
