It's always a great day to be a Bronco and The Stampede embodies the commitment, energy and support that fuels school spirit! Organized and led by Student Council and the Activities Office, The Stampede supports the success of every Bronco on campus — the athlete and the mathlete, the thespian and the theologian, the scientist and the artist. WHO WE ARE
The Brophy Student Council is unique. True representation of the wide array of interests and activities that are emblematic of Brophy's diverse student body might not be accomplished by an election. With that in mind, and with the goal of making sure every student has someone on the Student Council advocating for his particular interests and points of view, only six members are elected, with the others being appointed through a combined caucus of faculty, counselors and coaches. This allows everyone's voice to be heard.

WHAT WE DO
Brophy's Student Council creates and organizes events that encourage students to build relationships with one another and the school community. They plan events such as Homecoming, Hoopcoming, tailgates and the annual Fine Arts Extravaganza. They help organize intramurals and other group activities. Their efforts are aimed at helping Broncos form the bonds that will lead to a lifelong Brophy Brotherhood.

LEADERSHIP PHILOSOPHY
The Student Council does not elect officers. Everyone in Stuco has an equal voice, with the new members' thoughts and opinions being just as important to the conversation as a third-year member. That also means that every member is equally responsible for contributing to the effort that goes into the vast amount of work the Student Council does each year. Strong, focused and resourceful student leaders play an important role in the life of the school.
