    2017 - 2018
    Head Coach: Paul Allen

2016-2017 Season Review
At the end of successful regular season play, with an 11-1 record, the Broncos entered the state tournament as the No. 1 seed, primed to add to their six state titles. Brophy beat strong Desert Vista and Sandra Day O'Conner teams, but ultimately fell to Tolleson in the final.

Although disappointed at runner-up status, the Broncos had made their mark in 6A Premier Region soccer and were proud of the season's performance. Carter Clemmensen '18, Brophy's leading scorer, became a two-time all-state award winner. He also was added to the All-American watch list and AZCentral Sports chose him as one of three finalists for Big School Soccer Athlete of the Year. Sam Fletcher '18 was named to the All-Conference and All-Region teams and Deric Hall '19 joined Clemmensen on the watch list and was named Region Defender of the Year.

2017-2018 Season Preview
The Broncos look forward to heading into the new season with focus and drive. With the new Dutch Athletic Complex at their disposal, the team plans a training regimen not utilized before; one geared toward the conditioning they'll need to adequately prepare for the endurance and other physical demands necessary to stay strong and competitive from preseason through playoffs.

With the projected schedule, the coaching staff believes intense training and preparation will be necessary. Traditionally, Brophy faces some of the toughest competition in the region every year, and the 2017-2018 season is not expected to be any different. Along with a rigorous regular-season schedule, the Broncos have accepted an invitation to compete in an elite tournament designed to showcase some of the best teams in the nation. The team is eager to see how a strong senior-heavy roster will stack up against top competitors from Texas, Florida, and California at the January tournament hosted by Coppell High School in Texas.

Although the team has yet to be chosen, all signs point to a roster flush with seniors, with many seasoned players having been with the team since freshman year. With the addition of some talented underclassmen, the team has the potential to be one of the best top-to-bottom rosters that Brophy has ever put together. All interested Brophy students are welcome to come out for tryouts in late October
