Brophy introduced a 1:1 computing program 15 years ago. Currently, the program features 13-inch MacBook Air laptops. New students will pick up their MacBooks at orientation, Wednesday, Aug. 11, and will complete training online.
The technology fee has not been confirmed as Brophy is finalizing orders and working to secure the best prices. Typically, the fee is approximately $1,990 and includes a MacBook, a TI-84 graphing calculator, and all digital textbooks, software and licenses for a student's four years at Brophy. More information, including frequently asked questions, is available at the links below. For more information on technology at Brophy, visit the website.
All students new and returning will be required to submit a physical exam for the 2021-22 school year. Physical examinations for the 2021-22 school year need to be completed after March 1, 2021, to be valid for the upcoming school year. Exam packets are due August 2, 2021. Physical exam packets should be submitted through myBrophy. The 2021-22 physical exam packet form has been added to all parent and student accounts and you can upload your packet to that form. We will not be accepting hard copies, faxes or email attachments. Please contact your medical provider to schedule an appointment for your son’s physical. If you have any questions regarding obtaining a physical exam, please contact registrar Shawna Khan.
Each summer, Brophy offers credit courses as part of its high school Summer School program. In early March, a course bulletin with information on class selections, format (online, in-person or hybrid), tuition cost and registration steps will be available.
Students are not required to attend Summer School, but many do participate in the academic courses and sports camps. This year’s summer school runs from June 1 to July 2, 2021. Students sign up online — login information for the summer school online portal can be found in your acceptance packet.
Visit the Summer School webpage for updates, or check with the Admissions Office. Please note that all Summer School participants must wear a cloth mask while on campus.
You are invited to meet with Director of Admissions Mike Ward to learn more about Brophy's freshman-year curriculum and course requests. Zoom links will be sent to all parents in the Admissions Newsletter. Three presentation times are available. Please note that each presentation is the same so choose the one that works best for your schedule.
Get your Class of '25 t-shirt and other Brophy spirit wear, as well as your Brophy tie, at the Varsity Shop, located next to the Student Activity Center. Find shop hours, an online shopping link and other information here.
