How is your senior season going?
“It is good. This season there have been a lot more ups and downs. We feel really confident we will be able to push through the obstacles we have faced and finish out on top.”

How does winning the title last year motivate you and the team to repeat?
“I think especially for both Ethan Swenson and me, we were on the team the year before when we lost in the finals in overtime. That motivates us even more because we know how good it feels to win last year. We are pushing to not feel the same way we did and win it again.”

Who is the biggest challenge facing the team?
“Perry will be our biggest challenge. We lost to them earlier in the season. We feel as a team we have improved as a team.”

What has it meant to you to be part of the lacrosse team at Brophy?
“Being part of the lacrosse team has been the best part of my Brophy experience. Every day I am looking forward to being in the locker room with the team. Even when We are suffering or running, it is all worth it knowing I get to play another game with my friends.”

What is your family’s connection to the University of Notre Dame?
“My brother (Mark John ‘18) went there and recently graduated. He is now living in Chicago. My sister (Grace) will be a senior and my Dad went there for his MBA. I have been a Notre Dame fan since I was small. It has been a big part of my family and I am definitely the biggest fan.”

What is a fun fact about you?
“I am named after Thomas the Train. There were going to name me Benjamin but my brother loved Thomas the Train so it stuck.”

What are you looking forward to celebrating with your senior teammates?
“None of us are playing in college so this is it for competitive sports careers. We are going to leave it all out there and play for Cort.”
