Football Defeated at Centennial 28-7 

The Brophy College Preparatory football team lost to Centennial 28-7 in the resumed game on Saturday. The game was originally postponed to Saturday after two lightning delays and heavy weather on Friday. 
Leading 7-0 with 7:00 minutes in the first quarter, the Coyotes scored on their first possession to extend the lead to 14-0 and eventually led 28-0 at the half. 

Sophomore Carlos Estrada scored his first varsity touchdown in the fourth quarter and got the Broncos on the board. After scoring twice in the junior varsity game, it was his third touchdown of the week.
 

Senior David Lopez combined 129 yards of total offense, gaining 52 yards on 16 carries and recording 77 yards on five catches. Charlie McGinnis threw for 166 yards.
 

Dominic Mitchell led the team with eight tackles.
