The Brophy Basketball team held its annual team banquet on Monday night. Senior Hale Hansen was named the Most Valuable Player as voted by the team.

Jay Bilas “Toughness” Award (tie): Cooper Frakes, Rocket Schwertley & Amaru Williams
Fr. “Dutch” Olivier – Teammate Award: Colin Goossen
Defensive Player of the Year: Oliver Burbach
Offensive Player of the Year: Daylen Sharper
Most Valuable Player: Hale Hansen
The statistical awards included senior Hale Hansen, leading the team in rebounding, free-throw percentage, field-goal percentage, and charges. These statistical awards exemplify who we want to be as a basketball program: we want to be unselfish, we want to rebound, we want to shoot a high percentage, and we want to take charges.

Career Recognition: Over Daylen Sharper’s four years of varsity basketball here at Brophy, he scored 1,194 career points, joining Braeden Speed as one of two players to score 1,000 career points during his Brophy career over the last decade.
