Brophy posted a 41-8 win over Saguaro to improve to 5-4 on the season. The Broncos got two rushing touchdowns by Harrison Chambers, who eclipsed 2,000 rushing yards for his career. He is the seventh player in school history to rush for 2,000 yards.
Ryder Noche ran the opening kickoff back for a touchdown to tie the school record for longest kickoff return for the quick lead. Jack Carson had a 40-yard field goal and Mason Fees blocked a punt that led to a safety for a 13-0 lead after the first quarter.
Chambers opened the second quarter with the first of two touchdowns, while Case Vanden Bosch rushed for a score and threw for one to Devin Fitzgerald for a 34-0 lead at halftime. Chambers scored again in the third quarter for his 18th career touchdown.
Brophy will host Williams Field on Nov. 7 with a region title on the line.
