Brophy Lacrosse Enters A.L.L. State Playoffs as No. 1 Seed
The Brophy College Prep lacrosse team is the No. 1 seed in the Arizona Lacrosse League Tournament. The Broncos will host the winner of No. 8 Pinnacle and No. 9 Oro Valley on Friday at 6:00 p.m. at the Graham Family Sports Campus. The Brophy V2 team won the Cactus Conference title and earned the No. 12 seed. They will play at No. 5 Desert Vista on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m.
The Broncos are looking to become the first team in Arizona lacrosse history to win five straight titles. They have won nine titles in school history.
The top four seeds are Brophy, No. 2 Notre Dame Prep, No. 3 Corona, and No. 4 Chandler.
Brophy V1 (17-4) finished the regular season with a 10-0 record in the state, winning the Grand Canyon Conference title with a 191-38 goal differential.
They enter the postseason with a 48-game winning streak in Arizona league regular and postseason play, dating back to a 12-9 loss to Chandler on Feb. 28, 2023.
Other first-round matchups include No. 7 Boulder Creek hosting No. 10 Arcadia and No. 6 Higley hosting No. 11 Scottsdale.
