Tennis Selected as No. 2 Seed in AIA Division I Team Championships
The two-time AIA Division defending state champion Brophy tennis team is the No. 2 seed in the 2026 AIA Boys Tennis Division I Team Championship bracket announced by the AIA.
The Broncos (17-5, 13-1 in Arizona) will play either Highland, Desert View, or Liberty in the opening round on April 29 at 3 p.m. at the Phoenix Tennis Center. The winner advances against No. 7 Marana and No. 10 Higley on May 6.
The semifinals are scheduled for 8 a.m. on May 8 at the Phoenix Tennis Center, and the finals for 2 p.m. on May 9 at Paseo Racquet Club in Glendale. Brophy has won 24 state team titles in school history.
Hamilton is the No. 1 seed, Desert Vista is No. 3, and Rincon/University is No. 4.
Individual singles and doubles play begins on May 1 at Phoenix Tennis Center.
