The Adam Donnenfield Preseason Tournament is one of the longest-lasting tournaments in Arizona. It was established by Brophy’s head baseball coach, Tom Succow, in 1992, with support from the Donnenfield family. As a freshman in 1988, Adam began his baseball career at Brophy and planned to attend Princeton following graduation in the spring of 1992, where he committed to play Ivy League baseball. Sadly, during his senior year in December 1991, Adam was killed in a car accident. We continue to honor Adam by hosting this tournament in his name.
