Football Earns First Open Playoff Berth and No. 5 Overall Seed
The Brophy football team was selected as the No. 5 seed in the AIA Open State Championship bracket and will host No. 12 Casteel on Friday, Nov. 14, at Central High School. Tickets are available on the GoFan website and app, and only AIA passes will be allowed (No Mother’s Guild or Dad’s Club passes).
The Broncos (6-4) are in the Open bracket for the first time in school history. They are coming off back-to-back state semifinal appearances as the No. 1 seed in the 6A Conference bracket.
The Brophy-Casteel winner will advance to play at No. 4 seed Hamilton on Nov. 21.
