Brophy Wins Peaks Invitational in Flagstaff
The Brophy golf team won the 2024 Peaks Invitational at Continental Country Club in Flagstaff by 16 strokes over Desert Mountain.
The Broncos posted a 292 (+4) on Saturday after a 289 in the first round to secure their second invitational win of the season. Sophomore Evan Tyree opened with a 67 on Friday and shot 75 on Saturday to finish a team-best third overall. Senior Dylan Boenning and sophomore Asher Nelson tied for sixth overall at 146. Junior Jack Abraham posted a one-over 73 on Saturday to finish 13th overall, while Adone Panattoni was 15th at 149.
Brophy travels to Florida next week for the Cognizant High School Invitational at PGA National.
