Book Club

It's time to get back to books and the Mothers' Guild Book Club! Our first meeting is Thursday, August 25 at The Biltmore at 7:30 p.m. in the lobby. We will discuss "Major Pettigrew's Last Stand" by Helen Simpson. If you have questions, please contact Rosanne Schneider or Julie Petersen.

New Parent Luncheon

Wednesday, August 31

Join us for our annual luncheon (formerly New Parent Potluck) to meet freshmen and transfer moms in a relaxed setting while enjoying a yummy lunch. Freshmen and transfer moms should have already received an Evite. If you have not received the Evite, please contact Nancy Holben-Bates.

Mothers' Guild Welcome Mass and Meeting

Thursday, September 15

All mothers are invited to attend Mass in the Brophy Chapel beginning at 10:30 a.m. (all faiths are welcome) followed by a complimentary lunch and our first Mothers' Guild meeting beginning at 11:30 a.m. in Harper Great Hall. Freshmen and transfer moms will have tables reserved so that you can meet the moms of your son's classmates. Adria Renke, president, and Bob Ryan, principal, will share their plans for the upcoming school year.

Growing in Ignatius Spirituality

Monday, September 19 - Brophy Chapel, 6:30 p.m.

All are welcome as we begin this inspirational series. This reflective, contemplative time is led by Adria Renke, President of Brophy College Prep, and inspired by the messages of St. Ignatius. The sessions last approximately 45 minutes and occur once a month at 6:30 p.m. in the Brophy Chapel. Please come early as Ms. Renke starts promptly. It is not necessary to have attended previously to enjoy the benefits, and is open to all regardless of faith. Feel free to bring your husbands and friends.

Chapel Care

Chapel Care meets on the first Tuesday of each month from 8:00-9:00 a.m. Our next Chapel Care is on September 6. We gather at Brophy Chapel to give it a good cleaning as our service to the Brophy community, followed by coffee and conversation. Cleaning Dates for Fall 2016 are September 6, October 4, November 1, and December 6. Early December Christmas Decorating TBA!

Back to School - Sip N' Swing

Welcome back! Now that the boys are back in the swing of things, it's our turn! Join the Brophy Moms Golf Club at Topgolf in Scottsdale on Monday, September 19. We will meet in the entrance area at 11:00 a.m. for some fun, laughs, and friendship. All levels are welcome. Please RSVP to brophygolfmoms@gmail.com.

Brophy Blood Drive - Wednesday, September 28

It's your chance to help our Brophy superheros donate blood! Just a couple hours of your time could help us save lives! Brophy's Blood Drive will be Wednesday, September 28, 2016. We need a few Mom and Dad volunteers to assist with moving our Brophy students quickly through the donation process and assist to rehydrate and nourish them for a safe and quick return back to class. If you can spare some time, contact Mary Keller at marsters@cox.net or (602) 819-0734. Parents are welcome to donate from 8:30 a.m.-1:00 p.m.

Hiking Club

The hiking club will meet Wednesday, October 12 at 9:15 a.m. at Squaw Peak Circumference Trail followed by lunch, location TBD.

THE BROPHY FASHION SHOW

Calling All Senior Models!!!

The annual Brophy Fashion Show will be held on Thursday, November 3 at the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess... AND WE NEED YOU! Your application for the 2016 Brophy Fashion Show will be emailed to you on August 30 at 6:00 a.m. Applications need to be completed online via Google Doc and you will receive confirmation when your application has been received. The timestamp received on the Google Doc will give you priority on your choice of fashion! Please note that applications will be due no later than Friday, September 9! We look forward to watching you on the runway, Broncos!!! Questions? Please contact Kate Arthur.

Save the Date!
Save the date and join us on November 3 at the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess. All proceeds from this event supports the Brophy Financial Aid Fund. The festivities start with a social hour at 10:30 a.m., followed by the luncheon and the big event - a Neiman Marcus fashion show...featuring the designs of Badgley Mischka! But surely the highlight of the day will be our Senior Broncos traveling the runway!

Senior Moms - Graduation Information

Below you will find a link to information on the dates that Elite Southwest will be on campus to take your son's cap and gown measurements and receive your graduation announcement orders.

If you would like to come on campus and place the orders, you may. However, you may also send your very mature Senior Son to the table himself to place your order(s). Please note that there is no charge for caps and gowns (they are included in tuition). Announcements and other items require a deposit OR you can pay in full at the time of ordering.
