Football Takes Senior Night Game over Shadow Ridge
The Brophy football team posted a 43-7 win over Shadow Ridge on Homecoming/Senior Night to improve to 4-2 on the season.
The Broncos opened the game with a 32-yard touchdown from Fitzgerald to Vanden Bosch. It was the 20th career reception, finishing with three catches for 87 yards. Harrison Chambers had a 54-yard burst for a score to extend the lead to 14-0.
Brady Powell recorded his first career touchdown in the second quarter for a 21-0 lead. Junior Ryder Noche recorded two rushing touchdowns in the third as Brophy led 36-0.
Donovan McNabb Jr. completed the scoring with a fourth-quarter score.
Vanden Bosch finished 13-for-18 for 236 yards with three touchdowns. Daylen Sharper led the team with five catches for 63 yards, and Chambers finished with 79 yards on the night. The defense got interceptions from Deshawn Krein and Bishop Allen. Braxton Tate led the team with eight tackles.
Twenty-seven seniors were honored before the game in a pregame ceremony.
