Rowing Well Represented at the Head of the Charles

The Brophy rowing team had two great performances at the Head of the Charles Regatta last weekend. Brody Jennings finished 25th with a time of 19:47 in the Men’s Youth Single, while Quincy Sweet and Cooper LaVoy placed 42nd in the Men’s Youth Double with a time of 19:09.

The Broncos were competing against not only the best in the country but also against top crews from around the world. Their performances are a significant achievement.

Since its founding in 1965, the Head of the Charles has become the premier three-day international rowing competition, attracting elite crews from across the globe to the Charles River.

Also worth noting—Brophy Crew alumnus Ian O’Riley set a course record rowing in the Harvard University Lightweight 4+.
