Recent graduate Mark Aiden Molitor ‘25 was named a Top 7 Award Winner in this year's Positive Athlete Mountain region program. The 7 theme stems from the number of traits of a Positive Athlete- Optimistic, Puts Team First, Encouraging, Respectful, Admits Imperfections, True Heart for Others, and Embraces Service.
Born with a congenital spine defect that resulted in several surgeries, he bounced back from a final surgery during senior year to be nominated team captain.
Positive Athlete is a high school student athlete recognition and development program that expanded nationwide in January, after a decade-plus of success in Georgia and Western Pennsylvania. In 2025, Positive Athlete reached over 3,300 schools across all 50 states, receiving more than 12,000 nominations. More than $100,000 in nomination-based scholarship dollars will be given out to high-character student-athletes across the country, with funds allocated to ensure geographic diversity.
