Baseball’s Lafflam Named to Arizona Republic All-Arizona Team

Senior Jack Lafflam was named to the Arizona Republic All-Arizona team, as announced by the newspaper. He was also an All-Central Region first team selection.

He went 6-2 on the season with a 1.21 ERA with 74 strikeouts over 11 starts. He had two complete games, a 1-0 loss to the eventual state champion Corona del Sol and a playoff win over Queen Creek. He allowed one or fewer earned runs in nine of 11 starts, recording a season-best 10 strikeouts against Millennium. He had six or more strikeouts in eight of 11 games. 

He will be recognized at the 2024-25 Arizona High School Sports Awards on June 4. 

He has committed to play at the University of Arizona in the fall.
