Brophy participated in Sunday's annual Desert Sprints event at Tempe Town Lake.
Junior Brody Jennings won his singles event in 3:46.71 and paired with Noah Sunshine-Bannbaum in doubles (3:33). Sunshine won his heat in singles in 3:53.77.
The Brophy U17 4+ quad boats finished in 4:11 and 4:24. Sophomore Quincy Sweet won the U17 1x in 3:48.97. The Broncos fielded two freshman quads, and the boat led by Ryan Hoffman, Jacob Alcock, Lucas Crooks, and H Meister won in 3:53.69.
Cooper Lavoy and Carter Walsh won the Youth doubles in 3:44.74. Joseph Mansour led the U19 4x winning boat in the final race with Jack Bagby, Luca Flamino and Jesus Turrieta.
