Wrestler Josh Finch-Logan Advances to Wresting Final at 285
Josh Finch-Logan upset No. 3 seed Lincoln Smith from O’Connor Friday night to advance to the AIA Division 1 finals at 285 pounds. It was his third first-period upset pin. He upset No. 7 seed Dhacaurie Spencer from Millennium in the opening round and No. 2 seed Preston Shorter from Chandler in the second.
He will face two-time state champion Zayne Candelaria, Sr., Sunnyside (41-3). Finch-Logan is the third consecutive Bronco to reach a final, joining Jackson Sweetman in 2025 and Adam Angulo in 2024.
