Track & Field's Hensley and Bice Shine at Chandler Rotary
Freshman Hudson Hensley was third in the javelin with a mark of 180-6, the top mark in the country by a freshman this season and second-best performance in school history at the Chandler Rotary Invitational.
Senior Tanner Bice won the seeded long jump at 21-10.5 as the top individual finisher for the Broncos. The Brophy distance medley relay was sixth in 11:30.27, and Henry O’Riley was sixth in the elite high jump at 6-0. Jeronimo Gomez del Campo placed sixth in the javelin with a personal-best 170-2. Spencer Nick was eighth in the seeded 800m in 2:02.71.
Jake Shaff was 10th in the 400m and Max Columbus was 10th in the pole vault.
