Brophy finished second to Red Mountain at the Aztec Invitational with 114 points. The Broncos had several top performances, led by sophomore Benner Niemoth, who won the 1600 (4:29.11) and 3200 meters (9:57.42).
Freshman Hudsion Hensley won the javelin in his first meet with a freshman record and No. 2 all-time throw of 176-10. Senior Andrew Montz was second in the discus with a best of 154.06, and sophomore Henry O’Riley won the high jump with a 6-2 clearance, and his brother Jake O’Riley was third at 6-0. Junior Ryder Noche was third in the 100 meters (10.74) and third in the long jump (21-7.25). Junior Hemen Edmond placed third in the triple jump with a best of 41-6.
