Golfer Asher Nelson Named Peoria Subaru Athlete of the Week.

Junior golfer Asher Nelson has been named the Peoria Subaru Athlete of the Week, presented by the Brophy Auction. 
 
Nelson placed fourth at the Brophy Rodeo presented by PING with rounds of 71 and 69, the only Bronco to post under par in both rounds and one of four players in the tournament.  He helped the team to a second-place overall finish in the team standings. He was also the medalist at two-under par 34 in the season-opening match.

The golf team returns to action on Tuesday with a dual match and hosts the Brophy Invitational on Wednesday and Thursday at Papago GC.
