Track & Field Records Top Performances at Fr. Olivier Invitational

The Brophy Frosh/Soph team won the Fr. Dutch Olivier Invitational title with 125 points, setting two class records and five meet records in the process. 

Henry O’Riley tied the sophomore school record in the high jump at 6-4, and the 4x100-meter Relay (Jake Shaff, Dillon Cole, Alex Swiergol, and Julian Ferrari) ran 42.36.

Invitational records were set in the 800 meters by sophomore Spencer Nick (2:01.15), 3200 meters by sophomore Benner Niemoth (9:42.45), and javelin by freshman Hudson Hensley in the javelin at 159-10 (2nd), as well as the marks in the high jump and 4x100m relay.

The Broncos won five events, including Nick in the 800 meters, Neimoth in the 32000m, 4x100m relay, 4x400m relay (Cole, Swiergol, Dillon Gonzalez, and Warren Park), and O’Riley in the high jump.

Other top-four performances included Jake Shaff in the 200 meters (3rd, 22.29), Garrett Larson in the Open 200 meters (4th, 22.28) and 300m Hurdles (39.71), Neimoth was third in the 800m (2:03.14), Nick was third in the 3200 (10:20.04), and the 4x400 relay. In the field events, Jacob Rabaldi was third in the shot put. Three Broncos competed in the decathlon: Max Columbis (5th), Ryken ASton (19th), and Lucas Woods (22nd).
