Archery Finishes Second at State Championships

The Brophy College Prep archery team competed at the National Archery in the Schools Program (NASP) State finals, earning second-place finishes in bullseye and 3D.

Brophy was the runner-up for the third consecutive season and has placed among the top two teams in six consecutive seasons with three state championships (21, 22, 23).
 
In bullseye, the Broncos were second out of 10 teams with 3,152 points and 106 bullseyes, while they were second of 14 teams in 3D with 1,604 points and 71 bullseyes. 
 
Sophomore Mason Hutchison was the top archer, finishing second overall in bullseye with a score of 286 and the top sophomore. Erik Saldana Vera was fourth at 280. Hutchinson was the top finisher in 3D, placing second overall, with Valentin Morales placing fifth.
