Mountain Biking Third at Opening Race in Flagstaff
The Brophy/Xavier mountain biking team finished third in the season's first race at Ft. Tuthill outside Flagstaff on Sunday. The Broncos had three varsity athletes in the Top 10, highlighted by senior Edwin Beltran, who was sixth overall at 1:25.41. Lev Sheinbein was fifth overall in the JV2 race and freshman Luka Mclane crossed 12th in his race.
The second race is Sept. 21 in Prescott.
