Overhead Opportunities Continues Mission of Making Tennis Accessible to All
Four Brophy juniors, all members of Brophy varsity tennis, continue their mission of bringing tennis to young people who otherwise might not have an opportunity to learn the game. When they were freshmen, Logan Phillips, Aarin Gopakumar, Ryan Zerbib and Naren Gudavalli created the nonprofit, Overhead Opportunities. They host 90-minute tennis lessons after school for students from Loyola Academy, The Challenge Foundation and other local schools. Understanding that it can be an expensive game, their nonprofit also raises money to provide tennis rackets and other equipment.
More information is available on the OO website. Additionally, they were recently featured on Arizona's Family/Good Morning Arizona.
Brophy College Preparatory is proud to announce the recipients of the 2025 Alumni Awards, which will be presented during the Father–Son Communion Breakfast on Saturday, Nov. 22. The annual gathering is one of Brophy’s most cherished traditions, bringing together generations of fathers and sons for a morning of faith, fellowship, and celebration of the Brophy brotherhood.
