Volleyball Garners No. 3 Seed in AIA 6A Conference Bracket

The Brophy volleyball team will be the No. 3 seed in the AIA 6A Conference bracket announced on Wednesday. The Broncos will host No. 14 Mountain Ridge at 6 p.m. on Friday night at Robson Gymnasium.

The winner will take on the winner from No. 6 Mesa and No. 11 Tucson. Other matchups in the bracket include No. 2 Perry hosting No. 15 Red Mountain and No. 7 Shadow Ridge hosting No. 10 Corona del Sol. 

Highland is the No. 1 seed and will host No. 16 Basha. No. 8 Chandler takes on No. 9 Liberty, No. 5 Mountain Voew Mesa hosts No. 12 Maricopa and No. 4 Sandra Day O’Connor hosts No. 13 Desert Vista. 

Brophy (35-8) and Mountain Ridge (15-20) will be meeting for the second time this season. Brophy won the first meeting on March 21 by a score of 3-0. Quarterfinals will be contested on May 9.
