Volleyball Wins Las Vegas Easter Invitational

Brophy volleyball defeated Palo Verde 2-1 (25-19, 22-25, 15-7) in the championship match of the Gold Bracket of the 2023 Las Vegas Easter Volleyball Invitational. It completed a perfect 7-0 tournament for the Broncos. 
They advanced from the semifinals to the Gold Championship Bracket with a three-set win against Casteel, who was their opponent in the final of the Wolf Howl in Chandler earlier in the season. Brophy dropped the opening set 25-15 but avenged their loss by taking the second and third sets 25-21 and 15-10 to advance. 
Brophy (19-1) did not drop a set in pool play with wins over Bishop Gorman, Somerset Academy, and Clovis North on Monday and host Foothill and Clovis North out of Fresno, Calif.
