What is the edge that will help us be successful in the playoffs?
“I think the edge will be everyone buying into practices, scouting reports, and their roles. Everyone’s role has been changing throughout the year so I think doing the best in your role is important.”
What do you see as your role on the team?
“I see my role is coming off the bench and giving good minutes.”
What did the shot at Basha do for your confidence heading into the playoffs?
“It was a good confidence boost. Coming off a big injury it is hard to get your rhythm and your confidence back. I feel like hitting a shot like that boosted my confidence.”
How do your parents handle two basketball-playing kids?
“One parent usually goes to my sister’s games and one goes to mine.”
What does it mean to the team to be selected for Open Division and play in this new format?
“It gives us a bigger chance to compete against the best 32 schools. It is climbing up to a bigger state championship. The goal is to win the Open state championship.”
