Brophy Announces 2022 National Merit/College Board Honorees

The 2022 National Merit Semifinalists, Commended Students and College Board honorees have been announced. Brophy had 40 students who qualified for one or more of these designations. According to the National Merit® Scholarship Program, the program "honors individual students who show exceptional academic ability and potential for success in rigorous college studies." Approximately 1.5 million students took the 2020 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT®) last fall, thus entering a nationwide competition for recognition through the program.
