Model U.N. Competes at University of Arizona Conference

The Brophy/Xavier Model U.N. took their first full team to the first full-scale conference since pre-pandemic competition. The University of Arizona hosted 25 teams from Arizona and Mexico over the weekend of March 25-26. Participant Doer He '24 noted that they "wrapped up an incredible season with a fun and educational weekend."

Vincent Ortega '26 won Best Novice Delegate representing Jordan in the 40-person Committee on the Status of Women. 

Conference participants are Beckett Beltran '24, Rayan Farhoumand '25, Juan Flores '23, Enzo Gonzales '23, Doer He '24, Armani McDowell '26, Victor Mendez '26, Vincent Ortega '26, Pato Arguello Portillo '26, Ben Rush '24, Henry Walters '24, Sienna Andrews '25 XCP and Joslyn Jenkins '24 XCP. Faculty moderator is Mr. John Burns.
