Brophy Basketball to Host Capital City Tipoff Classic

Brophy basketball will host two games for the Capital City Tip-off Classic on Friday, Dec. 20. The fifth annual edition will include boys’ varsity basketball games between Corner Canyon (Utah) and Perry (Ariz.) at 6 p.m. followed by host Brophy playing Overland (Colo.) at 7:30 p.m.

Monarch Sports Arizona coordinated the event as part of the Shoot the Rock AZ Tour, which features a 14-game slate in six cities, 17 teams, and 13 schools from Arizona, Colorado, and Utah. 

According to MaxPreps, Perry is ranked No. 1 in Arizona and No. 5 in the nation. Corner Canyon is ranked No. 4 in Utah, and Brophy is ranked No. 44 in Arizona.
