Senior Dylan Boenning won the Brophy Invitational by six strokes after firing back-to-back rounds of 66. He led the Brophy team to a second-place finish at 576, six strokes back of Notre Dame Prep. Catalina Foothills was third at 576. Sophomore Asher Nelson placed 12th overall at 145 (73-72), while junior Brennan Wiscombe was 17th overall at 148 (72-76). Junior Adone Panattoni finished 24th overall at 152 (77-75) and sophomore Evan Tyree was 26th (79-75).
Boenning charged out with four birdies in his first six holes on Thursday, carding a front nine 32 and coming home with three birdies and a bogey on the back, highlighted by a birdie on the finishing 18th hole.
