Volleyball’s Connor Oldani Named Premier Region Offensive Player of the Year
Junior Connor Oldani was named the Premier Region Offensive Player of the Year as selected by the coaches, the AIA announced this week. Overall, he was one of seven Broncos earning all-region accolades.
Oldani ranked second in the region in kills (382) and kills per set (3.7) while hitting at the third-best rate (.366). He also led the team in receptions.
Brophy placed three players on the all-region first team including senior Teddy Churchill, junior Carson Collier-Ehrich, and senior Patrick Oldani. Churchill was second in the team in kills per set at 2.8, while Collier-Ehrich led the team in blocks, ranking second in the region. Patrick Oldani was third overall in assists (600) and assists per set (7.5).
Freshman Jude Keane was named to the second team, leading the team in digs with 223.
Sophomore Colin Zimmerman and junior Caden Thompson were honorable mention selections.
