The Broncos will wear the Brophy Crest on their helmets for tonight's playoff game for the first time since the 2017 season. It is a recognition of the history of the program and a unique tradition brought back with special permission from President Adria Renke.
Captain Strider Aston pitched the idea to President Renke last spring and an agreement was made for the crest to be used for the playoffs.
“For us, the crest is a reminder that we are playing for something bigger than ourselves,” said Aston. “It is not just the Bronco or Chapel tower on our helmets. It is a reminder of our Jesuit heritage and the whole Brophy community. It means something different to everyone.”
The Broncos take on Red Mountain on Friday night at 7 p.m. Tickets are $10 and $5 for students and can only be purchased on GoFan.
Brophy College Preparatory is proud to announce the recipients of the 2025 Alumni Awards, which will be presented during the Father–Son Communion Breakfast on Saturday, Nov. 22. The annual gathering is one of Brophy’s most cherished traditions, bringing together generations of fathers and sons for a morning of faith, fellowship, and celebration of the Brophy brotherhood.
