Swimming & Diving Opens with Win over Chandler
In the first duel meet of the season, the Broncos went 137 to 48 against Chandler High School. Sean Kennedy won the boards and the sprinters went 1,2,3,4 in the 50 and 100 free. The Broncos had personal-best performances from Mark Heffern in the 100 breaststroke, Ben Edwards in the 200 IM and Caden Oprandy breaking 49 in the 100 freestyle. Next week, the Broncos travel to Red Mountain at Skyline High School starting at 7 p.m.
