O’Riley Advances to “A” Final with Top Semifinal Time
Recent graduate Ian O’Riley ‘24 won his semifinal heat and posted the fastest time this morning at the USRowing Youth National Championships. He won semifinal 2 in 7:14.40 by over four seconds, bettering the first heat winner, Henry Davison of Oak Neck Rowing Academy (7:15.89).
O’Riley will advance to Sunday’s “A” final at 7:30 EDT (4:30 in Arizona). Over the last two years, he has finished second and third in the “A” Finals.
Rising junior Brody Jennings was seventh in his semifinal in the Men’s U17 1x in 18:18.44.
