Living a Faith That Does Justice

Brophy is a Jesuit, Catholic high school that welcomes students of all faiths, recognizing we are more alike than we are different. We understand that learning from one another's faiths and histories lead each of us toward a better understanding of ourselves and the world. The bonds formed create a brotherhood that enriches our shared human experience.

Jesuit education is known for outstanding academics; however, the truly transformational aspects of this 500-year-old educational system are the retreats, immersion trips and service experiences that instill competent and compassionate leadership and guide students toward becoming Men for Others to Serve the World.

Contact the Office of Faith and Justice if you have questions about what it means to be Jesuit educated.

Retreats at Manresa

Freshman Retreat

The best way to learn about retreats — and the spiritual and personal growth that comes with them — is to experience one for yourself! Each year, our newest Broncos kick off their Brophy journey with the Freshman Retreat on campus. Most other retreats are at Manresa, Brophy's retreat center outside of Sedona, Ariz., on the banks of Oak Creek. In addition to the OFJ-planned retreats, clubs and teams use retreats for effective team-building. Learn more.

Office of Faith and Justice

The Office of Faith and Justice offers students the guidance and experiences that lead to extraordinary learning and growth. Besides planning prayer services and liturgies, the OFJ coordinates retreats. immersion trips, service and the annual Summit on Human Dignity.

Sacramental Life

Students are invited to get involved in the sacramental life of the school — as ministers of the Eucharist, altar servers or as part of the music ministry. The Office of Faith and Justice also welcomes students who want to help plan Mass and prayer services.

In addition to the all-school liturgies and prayer services, Mass in Brophy Chapel is celebrated at lunchtime every Thursday. For more information on sacramental life at Brophy, visit this page.

A New Way to Pray!

"Personal, reflective, calming, imaginative." Brophy introduces Hallow, a prayer app that gives students another tool to strengthen their prayer life!
