On-Campus College Visits

Brophy hosts many visits from college and university admission representatives each year, primarily in the fall. For visits during the school day, seniors and juniors may choose to attend up to five of these presentations. If you wish to attend a college presentation, please note the instructions below.

Log on to Maia.
Go to 'Events' (left column), then select 'Visits' (under the 'University Visits' header).
Pick which school you'd like to visit, go to the 'Actions' tab on the right side of the screen and click 'Attend' from the drop-down menu. You will receive a confirmation email.
Students must inform their teacher (of the class/classtime they'll miss) at least two days in advance of the college visit.
On the day of the visit, the student should go to the assigned room and sign in. Immediately after the presentation, students must go to the Dean's Office to get a pass to return to class. (The College Counseling Department will share the sign-in list with the Dean's Office.)

The counseling department will maintain a record of student attendance at these college visits for accounting purposes.
