Graduation Events and Reminders

🎓 Graduation Rehearsal | 12:30 - 3:30 p.m. | May 14

The last day of school for seniors is Wednesday, May 14, and will include a mandatory graduation rehearsal. Seniors should report to their assigned classrooms by 12:30 p.m. in Brophy Hall. Mass dress is not required for graduation rehearsal.

🎓  Baccalaureate Mass | 7 p.m. | May 16 

Baccalaureate Mass is 7 p.m. on Friday, May 16, in St. Francis Xavier Church. Seniors must arrive on campus by 6 p.m. and report to their assigned classroom in Brophy Hall no later than 6:15 p.m. Mass dress is required along with a graduation gown, but no cap and tassel. To wear an additional garment or item of cultural significance to ethnic or tribal heritage at the Baccalaureate Mass and/or Commencement ceremony, a student or his parent/guardian must submit the request by 3 p.m. on Monday, May 12, 2025.

Doors to the church open at 6:15 p.m. and each guest must present a ticket at the door. Due to the church's capacity, this event is for seniors and parents/guardians only. Each family will receive three tickets. Families who have registered with the school as dual households will receive two additional tickets.

Mass will be livestreamed here for those who can't attend. Families are invited to stay after Mass for a reception in Harper Great Hall. Please note: Attendance is required for a graduate to participate in Saturday's Commencement ceremony.

🎓  Commencement | 9 a.m. | May 17

Brophy's 77th Commencement ceremony is at 9 a.m. on Saturday, May 17, in Robson Gymnasium. Students must arrive on campus by 8 a.m. and report to their assigned classrooms in Brophy Hall. Mass dress is required with graduation gown, cap and tassel.

Doors will open for guests at 8:15 a.m. Each guest must present a ticket. Each family receives six tickets. Families who have registered with the school as dual households are provided two additional tickets. 

Note on handicapped seating: Handicapped seating is limited and parents who require it will have priority. Once parents are accommodated, remaining handicapped seating will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

Graduation will be livestreamed here and available for viewing from home, or in the Student Activity Center for ticketed guests who may have difficulty navigating bleacher seating and stairs.

      • Seniors order their caps and gowns through the Varsity Shop. There is no charge for the cap and gown.

      • Brophy Seniors will have an opportunity to spend meaningful time with one another at service sites around the Valley.

      • All Seniors are invited to come together for an overnight experience on Brophy's campus from Friday, April 4 to midday Saturday, April 5.

      • Prom will be on campus from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m.
    unchecked Tuesday, April 29: Senior Farewell Dinner
      • Brophy will host the annual Senior Farewell Dinner on Tuesday, April 29 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. An invitation will be sent to senior families in March. (Graduation event tickets, graduation announcements, and caps and gowns will be distributed at the end of the evening.)

      • If a student would like to add an item or a garment that is culturally significant to his religious or tribal heritage, he or his parent/guardian must make the request before 3 p.m. on Monday, May 12. If you have questions, please see Dean Johnson.

      • All seniors are expected to participate in the graduation rehearsal from 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at St. Francis Xavier Church.

      • Baccalaureate Mass is mandatory. The Baccalaureate Mass is a solemn religious ceremony hosted at St. Francis Xavier Church. Seniors must arrive by 6 p.m. and the church doors will open at 6:15 p.m.

      • Seniors must be on campus by 8 a.m. and doors to Robson Gymnasium will open at 8:15 a.m. Commencement begins at 9 a.m.

    For those unable to attend the Baccalaureate Mass at 7 p.m., Friday, May 16 in St. Francis Xavier Church, LIVESTREAM HERE.

    For those unable to attend the Commencement ceremony at 9 a.m., Saturday, May 17, in Robson Gymnasium, LIVESTREAM HERE.
  • > Order Graduate Photos

    Signature Images will attend the Commencement to take individual photos of graduates receiving their diplomas.

    At graduation, all students wear Brophy's red graduation cap and gown. If a student would like to add an item or a garment that is culturally significant to his religious or tribal heritage, he or his parent/guardian must make the request before 3 p.m. on Monday, May 12.   • > Dress and Grooming Requirements

    • Baccalaureate Mass, Friday, May 16: Seniors must be in Mass dress and wearing their graduation gown (no cap).
    • Commencement, Saturday, May 17: Seniors must be in Mass dress and cap and gown. Don't forget or misplace your tassel!
